Project Controlling Manual – Construction Management

A practice-oriented guideline with numerous resources and working documents on CD-ROM

The complexity of construction projects requires the application of modern management methods. In this practice-oriented manual, construction management is considered extensively and in its entirety, following the project flow. In addition to the technical aspects of a project, this includes in particular also the economic and legal aspects. The authors discuss planning, management and controlling of objectives, qualities, deadlines and costs. They demonstrate the processes and methods of project management to be applied in order to achieve efficient project execution. Illustrated by numerous tables and graphics, organisational concepts and systematic procedures are introduced that considerably simplify the execution of construction projects. Forms and checklists on the enclosed CD-ROM make specific aids available. These templates for Microsoft standard software can be customised and used as needed, and create a safe foundation for successful implementation in the field.
